Aprons

I have been dwelling upon aprons lately.  It has been awhile since I have made one and have been thinking I really would like to add a few to my collection. A friend that has a shop in Vidalia said she could put some in her shop too!!!  My collection is composed  mostly mama's and they always bring her to mind :).  Recently I've seen several on Pinterest that I'd really like to have.  So began a search for patterns & though I did find a few(I bought the two patterns above) I could not find patterns for the ones I wanted the most.  So.... out came the paper & pen.... I created the rough drafts for the two I want to make first.  Next it will the sizing & scaling and onto some newspaper.  Daughter Wendy has agreed to be a dressform for me.

Of course the ordeal comes when it time to get the sewing machine out -- My sewing room is currently a bedroom for Brandon & Dalton ... so the machine will have to go onto the dining room table. I will have to sew on a school day and get them stitched up quickly as the machine will have to be put up by dinner time so we can serve dinner!  When I get them all done will post the pictures.
