Infinity

Infinity...=....taking or lasting forever...
  Been a while since I last posted.... what can I say..... Christmas holidays kept me busy, or maybe I had writers block,  ummmm excuses excuses excuses.... whatever.... I am back trying again!!!!  sooo......

Worked on a few crafts recently.  Finished an afgan I began crocheting 20+ yrs ago:
This pattern is so simple = 1/2/3  you chain to create the width you want,  then turn, chain 3, *single crochet in the 4th chain, double cochet in the next chain and triple crochet in the next chain ~ single crochet, double crochet, triple crochet......  Repeat from * ending the row with a triple crochet.  Turn chain 3 and repeat from *.   This one is 77"X52"  perfect for snuggling under to watch TV or read.  It began as a gift but since it took so long to finish I kept if for myself ( for fear the yarn may disinigrate from age!!!)  This almost took me forever to finish but not sure it will last for infinity

 and  I created a couple of infinity scarves .   S-I-L TommieJean taught me how to create a "new" scarf ... Sashay... I connect the ends so they just keep going round & round......

It is a simple project, quick and cute!  Will make really cute valentine gifts!

You simply stretch out the "yarn" cast on 6 (10) slide off all but the last caston and repeat to the end of the skein.  6 stitches create a longer scarf 10 shorter. (Instructions on back of skein label too) Adorable! You do not have to connect the ends & make it an "infinity" scarf .... that is just the way I prefer it.  Tho a tassel or "flower" type decoration attached to each end would be pretty cute too!

And then this infinity scarf I found on Pinterest!!!!  Oh I love Pinterest!!!!  I have currently have 27,380 pins & 209 Boards!  I spend WAY TO MUCH TIME at this site!!! but look... I do have something to show for it  :)  LOL!

I used a smaller hook than recommended so mine is a little tighter than the example on pinterest.... but hey it works well..... we have had a **few cold days here in south Georgia & I was happy to have it all snuggled warm around my neck!
**very few cold days & today it is already(not even noon yet) 70degrees F- with an expected 79 for Sunday!!!

Well, got things to do & places to go..... after I have a cuppa  ... hope your day is swell and you have a moment to sit back and sip a sweet cup of tea too......
God Bless... Signe
