Tuesday was such a day-- dropped into the Goodwill and got a real deal of an outfit for $16.50!!Always nice to get a good deal!

A cream color mock turtle neck, a tweed pair of pants & a Talbot's linen jacket -- oh and and pair of work out pants too!  Needed a new upper undergarment - went to Target and it cost more than the outfit!!   Oh by the way the pants are size 14!  Down from size 24!  We also went by the library and got books to read to Jacobs class (Amber read on Wed & I on Friday)-- I chose Paperwhite  and I plan to buy some bulbs to leave in the class room to bloom as that is what the story is all about . I'll also bring in some yummy cupcakes for his class to have after lunch.  It will be so much fun!

Wednesday was tied up at the Fulton Co. courthouse. I looked for bulbs on the way home at Lowe's & Home Depot -- no luck.  Finished the book Ten Thousand White Women - it was great and I already miss Mary Dodd and her journals  -- Will start The Red Tent Thurs nite.

Thurs/this morning we went to Bible study and then to lunch at City Cafe  Bakery in Fayetteville -- yum - I had chunky tomato & basil soup and a quiche - Amber had a great salad with baby greens, lemon chicken, artichokes, olives, cucumber, fresh mozerella & feta cheeses + bruchetta.  It was all delish!  So many great choices we plan to go back next time I'm up here.   We've been looking around for paperwhite bulbs with no luck - stopped at a little nursery and they didn't have any either but the guy working there called their other shop in Griffin & yeah they had a few left!!!  So I  trucked over & picked them up  -- Success!  Will Post pictures the storytime & planting the bulbs!! Should be FUN!!!  Made some salmon croquettes for supper tonite and now it's puzzle time...  then it will be time to go to bed & start my new book.
